8-07-12 - MONSOON RAINS

I’m still stuck here in the office for 2 days. I still can’t go home since it’s raining hard. The only form of communication to the outside world that I have is the internet and my cellphone, which I use to contact my sister back at home. Right now, I feel angry not scared. Angry because I could’ve done more to prevent this thing from happening again, angry for feeling so helpless, and angry because I’m supposed to be beside my sister right now. But come to think of it, my problems are very small compared to the homeless people that I encounter when I go home. My sister can take care of herself, she has my yaya (nursemaid), and my Ate (older female cousin). But those homeless people, they have no one out there for them, especially the children.

I’m angry, because I can’t do anything other than pray.  This is right, it is right to pray, yet I know that it can only go halfway, we, here on earth, HIS most intelligent creation, must do something for that miracle to happen. And then I saw this ad. I think that this might do.

I know this isn’t related to THG/Teen Wolf/1D/etc, but I really need all of your prayers for the Philippines. People have died and suffered due to this monsoon, and yes, only a monsoon not even a typhoon. I heard that we are experiencing great floods, and rain because the monsoon got the rain from the typhoon in China(?). Anyways, I’m just really heartbroken to know that not all of the people aren’t safe like me. I’d rather have classes than see people suffer. Please, I’m not asking for any donations, but just prayers. I believe that we, Filipinos, can survive this.

Recently Manila, Philippines is having an unwanted weather and storms are crashing some parts of our city. We all know that when Philippines is under such calamity there are lots of family in danger and some are experiencing hunger, cold, and some are helpless.
